Sending Salat Upon The Prophet (saws) After The Tashah-hud

باب الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ ‏ ‏ ‏.‏
"‏ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏"
This tradition has also been reported by Shu’bah through a different chain of narrators. This version adds:

Bless Muhammad and Muhammad’s family as Thou didst bless Abraham.
