Chapter 146

Someone who curses

بَابُ اللِّعَانِ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِلصِّدِّيقِ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا‏.‏

English

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The true person must not be a curser."
