Chapter 288

The supplications of the Prophet, may Allah bless

بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 672
حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ‏.‏
Anas said, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from concern, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, being deeply in debt and being overpowered by men.'"
