Chapter 291

The supplications of the Prophet, may Allah bless

بَابُ دَعَوَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلاَءِ قَالَ‏:‏ غُفْرَانَكَ‏.‏
'A'isha said, "When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, left the lavatory, he said, 'Your forgiveness!'"
