Hadith 42

Sahih Bukhari

Book 10: Call to Prayers (Adhaan)

Chapter 30

Superiority of the congregational Salat (prayer)

Whenever Al-Aswad missed the congregational Salat (prayer) he used to go to another mosque (to offer the Salat in congregation). Once, Anas came to a mosque where the Salat was finished; he pronounced the Adhan and then Iqama and offered the Salat in congregation.
Sahih al-Bukhari 645
`Abdullah bin `Umar:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The prayer in congregation is twenty seven times superior to the prayer offered by person alone."
