باب مَا جَاءَ أَنَّ الأَعْمَالَ بِالنِّيَّةِ وَالْحِسْبَةِ وَلِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى
And every person will get the reward according to what he has intended.
And this includes faith, ablution, As-Salat, Zakat, Hajj, As-Saum and all the Ahkam (orders) of Allah.
Allah تعالى said, "Say: Each one does (deeds) according to Shakilatihi (i.e., his way or his religion or his intentions etc.)..." (V.17:84)
And the spending of a man for his family with the intention of having a reward from Allah جل جلاله, will be regarded as alms.
And the Prophet ﷺ said, "Jihad and intentions." (meaning — Jihad — to fight for Allah's جل جلاله Cause, and when there is no call for it then at least one should have the intention to take part in Jihad). فَدَخَلَ فِيهِ الإِيمَانُ وَالْوُضُوءُ وَالصَّلاَةُ وَالزَّكَاةُ وَالْحَجُّ وَالصَّوْمُ وَالأَحْكَامُ.
وَقَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ} عَلَى نِيَّتِهِ.
«نَفَقَةُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ يَحْتَسِبُهَا صَدَقَةٌ».
وَقَالَ: «وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ».
