باب الْجِلاَلِ لِلْبُدْنِ
Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما used to tear off only the part of the sheet covering the camel's hump. At the time of slaughtering the sacrifice he would remove the sheet, lest it should get spoiled with blood, and later on he would give it (the sheet) in charity.
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا لاَ يَشُقُّ مِنَ الْجِلاَلِ إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ السَّنَامِ، وَإِذَا نَحَرَهَا نَزَعَ جِلاَلَهَا، مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُفْسِدَهَا الدَّمُ، ثُمَّ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهَا.
