Chapter 3
Repayment of debts
باب أَدَاءِ الدُّيُونِ
And the Statement of Allāh تعالى: "Verily! Allāh commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allāh) gives you! Truly, Allāh is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer." (V.4:58)
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If I had gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, it would not please me that it
should remain with me for more than three days, except an amount which I would keep for repaying
debts."
