Taking meals on arrival (from a journey)

باب الطَّعَامِ عِنْدَ الْقُدُومِ

Ibn ‘Umar used to present meals to the one who used to visit him (on returning from a journey).
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُفْطِرُ لِمَنْ يَغْشَاهُ.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏‏.‏ صِرَارٌ مَوْضِعٌ نَاحِيَةً بِالْمَدِينَةِ‏.‏
"‏ صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ‏"
Jabir:

Once I returned from a journey and the Prophet (ﷺ) said (to me) "Offer two rak`at." (Sirar is a place near Medina).
