Book 57: One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)
Chapter 4
What has been said regarding the houses of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ and that which were named after them of the houses (e.g., ‘Aishah’s house)
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي بُيُوتِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَمَا نُسِبَ مِنَ الْبُيُوتِ إِلَيْهِنَّ
And the Statement of Allah ﷻ: “And stay in your houses, (O wives of the Prophet)…” (V.33:33)
And also: “Enter not the Prophet’s houses, unless permission is given to you…” (V.33:53)
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَطِيبًا فَأَشَارَ نَحْوَ مَسْكَنِ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ .
" هُنَا الْفِتْنَةُ ـ ثَلاَثًا ـ مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ "

`Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and delivered a sermon, and pointing to `Aisha's house (i.e. eastwards), he said
thrice, "Affliction (will appear from) here," and, "from where the side of the Satan's head comes out
(i.e. from the East).
