Chapter 117

The permission taken by a woman from her husband to go to the mosque

باب اسْتِئْذَانِ الْمَرْأَةِ زَوْجَهَا فِي الْخُرُوجِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَغَيْرِهِ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏‏.‏
"‏ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتِ امْرَأَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلاَ يَمْنَعْهَا ‏"
Salim's father:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If the wife of anyone of you asks permission to go to the mosque, he should not forbid her."
