Chapter 96

The signs of loving Allah

بَابُ عَلاَمَةِ حُبِّ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

لِقَوْلِهِ: {إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ}.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ ‏ ‏‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ‏.‏
"‏ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ ‏"
Abu Musa:

It was said to the Prophet; , "A man may love some people but he cannot catch up with their good deeds?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves."
