وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ إِذَا طَبَخْتَ مَرَقَةً, فَأَكْثِرْ مَاءَهَا, وَتَعَاهَدْ جِيرَانَكَ } أَخْرَجَهُمَا مُسْلِمٌ .‏ 1‏ .‏

English

Abu Dharr (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“When you make some soup, make a good amount by adding plenty of liquid, and give some to your neighbors.” Related by Muslim.
