Hadith 428
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { مِنَ اَلسُّنَّةِ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى اَلْعِيدِ مَاشِيًا } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَحَسَّنَهُ 1‏ .‏
'Ali (RA):

It is Sunnah to go to the 'Eid (prayer) walking. [Reported by at-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (good)].
