Those who do not attend Friday prayer without an excuse

باب فِيمَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ ‏ ‏.‏
"‏ مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ، فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ ‏"
It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever abandons Friday deliberately, let him give a Dinar in charity, and if he cannot afford that, then (let him give) half a Dinar.”
