Anas reported God's messenger as saying, "Azd is God's Azd in the earth. People wish to lower them, but God refuses to do anything but exalt them. A time is certainly coming to mankind when a man will express the wish that his father had belonged to Azd and that his mother had belonged to Azd."
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition.
