It Is Disliked To Favor Some Of One's Children Over Others In Gift-Giving

باب كَرَاهَةِ تَفْضِيلِ بَعْضِ الأَوْلاَدِ فِي الْهِبَةِ ‏‏

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لأَبِيهِ ‏ ‏ ‏.‏
"‏ لاَ تُشْهِدْنِي عَلَى جَوْرٍ ‏"
Nu'man b. Bashir (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to his father:

Call me not as witness to an injustice.
