Tribulation From The East, From Where The Horns Of The Shaitan Appear

باب الْفِتْنَةِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنَا الشَّيْطَانِ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ ‏ ‏ ‏.‏ يَعْنِي الْمَشْرِقَ ‏.‏
"‏ رَأْسُ الْكُفْرِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏"
Ibn Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out from the house of 'Aisha and said:

It would be from this side that there would appear the height of unbelief, viz. where appear the horns of Satan, i.e. the east.
