If He Does Not Have Any Dirhams But He Has The Equivalent

باب إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ دَرَاهِمُ وَكَانَ لَهُ عِدْلُهَا ‏‏

أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏ ‏.‏
"‏ لاَ تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلاَ لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ ‏"
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not permissible to give charity to a rich man (or one who is independent of means) or to one who is strong and healthy."'
